Lewis-Gale Heart Center utilizes a fully-equipped, state of the art Cardiac Vascular Lab, where the most recent technology is used in the detection of cardiovascular diseases. Our center performs studies on the complete vascular system, including studies of coronary arteries, carotid arteries, peripheral arteries  in the arms, legs and other extremities of the body. Additionally, our Heart Center recently introduced PET Scanning through its diagnostic and imaging department, where other cardiac diagnostic tools are available.
