The Lewis-Gale Breast Center is open Monday through Friday, from
7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Physician referral is encouraged, but not required.

Prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment and multi-specialty physician services are conveniently available to provide a total spectrum of care. Rather than waiting weeks for diagnostic studies, most breast center patients can now have all of their tests in one day. The Lewis-Gale Breast Center offers digital mammography services. Digital mammography images are clearer than analog film and provide high-precision accuracy, enabling even earlier detection of breast cancer. Learn more.

In addition to a full staff of accredited mammography technologists, Lewis-Gale radiologists, general surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists are on-site to examine patients and interpret diagnostic results. For patients needing follow-up care, the Lewis-Gale Regional Cancer Center works with hospitals and physicians in several communities to provide the most technologically advanced and nurturing environment possible for the treatment of cancer. These locations include Alleghany Regional Hospital, Pulaski Community Hospital and Montgomery Regional Hospital.
